Shimmering Sunset

I was digging through the old archives (that aren't really that old ;-D) and found this. I took it at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. It was a great sunset that night!

Perhaps cropping out part of the sky would make it a little better. . .not sure. Usuially the rule is to line up the horizion in thirds (1/3, 2/3ds etc.)
Cropping part of the sky would give you a cool " almost panorama" look :)

Wow I really like this shot. It makes me really wish I lived around a body of water.

Thanks for the comments mark and raffi. I don’t know though mark... I just can't see what you are talking about with the crop making it better. I don't really think it needs it anyway, but thanks for the suggestion. I rarely crop my picture and probably have only done it about 5 times out of well lots. I do like the clouds in this one and can't see cropping them out... As or the rule of thirds, well rules are meant to be broken ;-D As I have done many times :-)
