I took this photo when I was on vacation in
Florida... Ya, it has taken me a while to post some of these, but it’s up now :-D.

I love the color, and the crispness in the petals, and middle part of the stem. . .but I have never been real fond of a flower where most in in focus, only to have part of it totally out of focus. My favorite way to shoot a hibiscus (sp?) is to shoot it from the side, or at a 45º angle, so as to be able to render the whole "stem" in focus, as well as the flower itself.
I like the shadow too :)
