Light of Many Colors
I finally discovered the key to taking rainbows! Before all my pictures were washed-out and you couldn't see the rainbow, but if you use low contrast on in-camera settings, the rainbow pops out.

you're right though, this totally pops out!
On most digital cameras the user has the ability to adjust different settings (sharpness, color, contrast, etc.) On my camera I set the contrast to low, and the color to vivid to take this rainbow shot. Your camera may be different, but using a lower contrast setting should work.
Yes, I can change to vivid - I see what you're saying now. Thanks for the clarification :)
